Core file stays local
Accounts, transactions, balances, planning inputs, and projections live on your computer by default.
Trust & transparency
The local-first promise, drawn plainly. Your financial file lives on your computer by default. The only network calls the app requires are a license check and an update check; everything else — Ask Glide, price refresh — is opt-in, and each one names exactly what it sends. Local by default — and honest about the exceptions.

You buy a license — that’s the whole business model. No assets under management, no products or insurance to sell you, no commissions or kickbacks, and we don’t sell your data. You get the kind of forward-looking planning math that used to mean an expensive appointment. Nobody whose product you might pick is paying us — so the tool only has to be worth buying.
Trust receipt
The short version should be easy to check before anyone has to read a policy. GlidePath is a local-first desktop app; online touchpoints are either required operating services or clearly labeled optional features.
Accounts, transactions, balances, planning inputs, and projections live on your computer by default.
Activation and update services see license/device metadata, not your household financial file.
AI categorization, forwarded email parsing, and price lookups each explain what they touch.
Privacy, security, refund, release notes, and claim checks stay linked so the public story can be verified.
“Proof, not promises.”
